We have not always been blessed with enlightened and honest leadership in Washington, Tallahassee, and so many of our communities. I believe the general lack of integrity in politics and lack of informed civic engagement in American society have exacted a terrible toll on the body politic.
It is time to demand better and to commit ourselves to improving our political system and state of civic education.
Think Act Lead is a non-profit think tank dedicated to promoting progressive but practical solutions to public problems, advocating democratic political reforms, and fostering civic engagement in south Florida communities and beyond.
