Rather than promoting outsourcing, government must be promoting the creation of good jobs in the U.S. We propose the USA Jobs Tax Credit, which would offer jobs creation tax credits and incentives such as waiving the employer’s share of payroll taxes during the initial year of employment for new jobs created or brought back to U.S.
Raise the minimum wage. It is not possible to lift oneself or one’s family out of poverty, to save or invest, or to afford healthcare while making $5, $6, or even $7 per hour.
Invest in emerging technologies and markets such as biomedical and biotech, clean fuels, healthcare, computers, engineering, and so on. For the next century to be another "American century" we must continue to promote innovation and success.

Overturn George W. Bush's bankruptcy bill which, as economic growth slowed to a snail's pace and bankruptcy's soared, makes it almost impossible for small businesses and individuals to declare bankruptcy. This was an ill-conceived, ill-timed initiative that was little more than a gift to big insurers and the credit industry at the expense of consumers.
